The Tree Company provides professional tree surgery services including:

• Tree removal and dismantling
• Tree pruning and trimming
• Stump grinding and removal
• Hedge cutting and maintenance
• Emergency tree services
• Tree health assessments

All services are performed by fully qualified, NPTC-certified arborists with comprehensive insurance coverage.

2. Quotes and Estimates

• All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time
• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from initial assessment
• We reserve the right to adjust quotes if additional work or safety measures are required
• Free site assessments are available for most projects
• Written quotes will be provided before work commences

3. Booking and Scheduling

• Services are scheduled upon acceptance of our quote and confirmation of availability
• We will provide advance notice of scheduled work dates
• Weather-dependent work may be rescheduled for safety reasons
• We require reasonable access to the property on the scheduled date
• Emergency services are available 24/7 and will be prioritized accordingly

4. Payment Terms

• Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
• Payment Timing: Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
• Deposits: Large projects may require a deposit before work commences
• Late Payment: Outstanding invoices may incur late payment fees after 30 days
• Disputes: Any payment disputes must be raised within 7 days of invoice

5. Cancellation Policy

By Customer:

• Cancellations with 48+ hours notice: No charge
• Cancellations within 48 hours: May incur a cancellation fee
• Emergency bookings: Subject to different cancellation terms

By The Tree Company:

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or equipment issues
• Customers will receive advance notice of any cancellations
• No charges will apply for cancellations initiated by us

6. Site Access and Safety

• Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
• Customers must inform us of any underground services, utilities, or hazards
• Work areas may need to be cordoned off for safety during operations
• Customers and third parties must maintain safe distance from work areas
• We reserve the right to stop work if safety conditions are not met
• Pets must be secured away from work areas during operations

7. Liability and Insurance

• The Tree Company maintains £5 million public liability insurance
• We are fully insured for all tree surgery operations
• We are not liable for pre-existing property damage or defects
• Customers must inform us of any valuable items or structures near work areas
• Claims for damage must be reported within 7 days of work completion
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered

8. Waste Disposal and Cleanup

• All waste removal and site cleanup is included in quoted prices unless specified
• Wood chips and logs may be left on-site if requested
• We dispose of all waste responsibly and in accordance with regulations
• Additional cleanup beyond standard service may incur extra charges

9. Tree Preservation Orders and Permissions

• Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions before work begins
• This includes Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and Conservation Area consents
• We can advise on permission requirements but cannot guarantee approval
• Work cannot proceed without proper legal permissions
• Customers will not be charged for delays caused by permission processes

10. Warranties and Guarantees

• We guarantee all work is performed to professional industry standards
• Tree health cannot be guaranteed as it depends on many environmental factors
• We do not guarantee that trees will survive pruning or treatment
• Storm damage and acts of nature are not covered by warranty
• Any concerns about completed work must be raised within 14 days

• All content on this website is owned by The Tree Company
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission
• Our business name, logo, and branding are protected trademarks
• Customer testimonials and photos may be used for marketing with permission

12. Use of Website
